Retaining the employees is key to the success and long term growth of your business. Managers are of the opinion that it does increase customer satisfaction, improve product lines and enhance organization learning. The question is if managers are aware of this, then why do they behave in such a manner that the employees leave their jobs.

The bottom line is that employee retention does matter. If you are at loss of words to retain your best employee it means a lot of loss to the organization in terms of training along with productivity. Estimates indicate that loosing a middle level manager means that an organization goes on to loose nearly 100 % of the salary. What worse the loss of a senior executive is all the more worse.

It is one of the main reasons for the effective health of your organization. If you are losing critical members in your organization, then be assured that other members are too looking to fill their team as well. It is the exit interviews where you can have a first hand knowledge on why employees are looking to leave an organization. Hence the data and you are bound to have a data which is important to retain the health of your organization.

 A satisfied employee will be aware of what is expected out of them in the first place. When you change the lines of authority it makes them panic and they get distressed on their job.
